Saudi govt would bear the expenses of ASP Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi’s travel to Saudi Arabia with her family as a royal guest

Saudi royal treat for brave police officer ASP Shehrbano

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki will arrange a royal visit for ASP Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi and her family following her heroic actions in saving a woman from a violent mob in Lahore’s Achhra Market.

A source told Geo News that the diplomat told this to ASP Syeda Shehrbano during their meeting at the Saudi embassy where the ambassador hosted the brave police officer.

The source said that Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki appreciated the courage of the police officer and told her that the Saudi govt would bear the expenses of her travel to Saudi with her family as a royal guest.

I have lauded the ASP for her selfless devotion to duty and professionalism in defusing a volatile situation.

A day earlier, the Gulberg ASP called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters.

Gen Munir acknowledged the vital role Pakistani women were playing in all walks of life.

“Since independence, Pakistani women have distinguished themselves at home and abroad, by virtue of their talent, tenacity, and commitment,” he was quoted as saying.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Usman Anwar has recommended Syeda Sheharbano Naqvi for the Quaid-i-Azam Police Medal (QPM).
